November 18: free public transport and parking services, extra public transport to be launched
For passengers to reach comfortably the places where festive events will be held and return home, extra runs of buses, trolleybuses and trams will be organised on November 17-20 during the „Staro Rīga” lights festival and during the national holiday events. Public transport will run from the city centre until 24.00 on the following routes:
BUSES: No. 2, 3, 11, 12, 12/23/26 (combined, runs across Akmens Bridge), 18, 24, 25, 37, 40, 41, 50, 51, 52, and 53.
TRAMS: No. 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, and 11.
TROLLEJBUSES: No. 9, 14, 15, 17, 18, 22, and 27.

- Extra runs of trams, trolleybuses and buses on November 18.
- Extra runs of trams, trolleybuses and buses on November 19.
- Extra runs of trams, trolleybuses and buses on November 20.
- Extra runs of tram No.11 on November 20.
On November 18 public transport will run according to the holiday schedule. Minibuses will run according to Sunday and holiday schedules. We also remind that fare in minibuses will be paid as usually.
During the parade of the National Armed Forces and Interior Ministry units delays of public transport are likely on the routes passing across Akmens Bridge, along Aspazijas Boulevard, Raiņa Boulevard, Merķeļa Street, Brīvības Boulevard, Brīvības Street, and Bruņinieku Street.
During the festive event and the President’s address at the Freedom Monument short delays of public transport are likely from 19.20-20.20 on the routes passing along Zigfrīda Annas Meierovica Boulevard, Aspazijas Boulevard, Raiņa Boulevard, Brīvības Boulevard, and Brīvības Street.
If the transport traffic across Akmens Bridge is closed during the salute, then bus No. 22 will go to stop „Central Railway Terminal”, then turn about and run in the opposite direction along Gogoļa Street, Marijas Street (turns about like bus No. 8 in the Railway Terminal Square), then in Gogoļa Street, Lāčplēša Street, across Salu Bridge, along Mūkusalas Street, Akmeņu Street, Valguma Street, Uzvaras Boulevard and further by the route. Bus stops „13the January Street” and „Grēcinieku Street” will not be served, and the bus will not stop at stop „Central Market” on the way to the airport. Bus No. 22 will stop at the intercity bus stop „National Library” in Uzvaras Boulevard.
On November 18 the pay parking lots operated by „Rīgas satiksme” will be available free of charge, except for the underground car-park at K. Valdemāra Street 5a, where parking services will be charged for according to standard tariffs.
On the national holiday eve, November 17, the customer service centre at Brīvības Street 49/53 will be open from 8.00 till 17.00, other customer service centres will be open as usually on working days – until 19.00. On November 18 the customer service centres will be closed. On Saturday, November 19, the customer service centre at Brīvības Street 49/53 will be closed.
On November 17, legal persons will be served at customer service centre at Brīvības Street 191 from 8.00 till 14.00.
